Educational Qualification
Candidates को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड से 10th (Matriculation) minimum 50% marks के साथ पास होना अनिवार्य है।
साथ ही संबंधित Trade में ITI certificate होना जरूरी है। जैसे:

- Electrician – ITI in Electrician
- Welder – ITI in Welder
- Carpenter – ITI in Carpenter
- Diesel Mechanic – ITI in Diesel Mechanic
- COPA/PASAA – ITI in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
- Refrigeration & AC – ITI in Mechanic Refrigeration & AC
- Draftsman (Civil) – ITI in Draftsman Civil
- Stenographer – ITI in Stenography (English)
- अन्य trades के लिए संबंधित ITI अनिवार्य है
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 15 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 Years
- OBC – 3 Years
- PwD – 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen – नियमों के अनुसार छूट

Salary / Stipend
Selected candidates को 1 वर्ष की Apprenticeship Training दी जाएगी। इस दौरान stipend Railway Board के नियमों के अनुसार दिया जाएगा।
Selection Process
Selection पूरी तरह Merit List के आधार पर होगा।
- 10th marks (minimum 50%)
- ITI marks
- दोनों को equal weightage दिया जाएगा
- कोई Written Exam या Interview नहीं होगा
Tie होने पर:
- अधिक आयु वाले उम्मीदवार को प्राथमिकता
- यदि DOB समान है तो पहले 10th पास करने वाले को प्राथमिकता
